The Freedom Ball

Details: The Freedom Ball is a formal dinner, dance, and silent auction to raise funds and awareness for The Well, USA, a safe home in PA where women rescued from sex trafficking in America can find hope and healing. There will be a delicious catered dinner, a brief speaker, and an evening of dancing the night away with polka, waltz, swing, and some contra dances. Brief dance instruction will be provided and no partner necessary, so don't let that stop you from enjoying an evening with us!

The Cause: Situated on 86-acres, The Well is a peaceful haven for up to ten women, offering occupational skills, education, classes, safety, therapy, counseling, and life coaching 24/7. Every penny earned during this fundraiser goes to help these women along the road to freedom and recovery! Learn more about The Well here.

Buy Tickets: We're happy to announce The Freedom Ball is SOLD OUT!! If working to stop sex trafficking is a passion of yours, please consider donating instead! (see below) If you purchase a student ticket, come prepared to show your student ID during check-in. If you would like to purchase tickets via cash or check, call or text 970-459-0947 to reserve your tickets and arrange payment. Please either print your ticket upon confirmation, or keep it handy on your phone for easy check-in.

Donate: Scroll to the bottom of the page and look in the right-hand corner for the "Donate Now" button. You may enter any amount you choose. Contrary to how it looks, you do NOT need Paypal to donate. Simply click along the steps and you'll see in small font a link where you can pay with credit card rather than Paypal. Don't be misled! There will also be opportunities to donate at the event itself, so come prepared.

Attire: Formal, so dress in your finest! Full-length evening dresses and ties are perfectly appropriate. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes to dance the night away. Every age is welcome, but we recommend this event for ages 13+ due to some sensitive content.

Parking: The doors open at 5:45 and expect to pay for parking. There are multiple lots nearby, with rates of $6.50 (cash only) and $7.00 (credit card). It is highly recommended that you carpool or come via a service like Uber. The closest parking lot is 1515 Pearl Street (cash only), and 1598 Pearl Street is your best bet paying via credit card.

Bring: Money for parking, your student ID (if needed), and some extra cash for the silent auction - you won't want to miss these items!
